If you are submitting an application to adopt a DOG you may come to our location at 3241 Mr. Joe White Avenue from 12-6 pm, any Friday- Tuesday to speak to an adoption counselor and have your application reviewed. If you are submitting an application to adopt a CAT please come visit us in person at our storefront at Tanger Outlets on Highway 501 (Suite N210) between 12-6 pm, 7 days a week and meet the cats that we have available for adoption. At that time you can speak to an adoption counselor and let them know that you filled out an online application. If you’re interested in a cat or kitten that is in a foster home we will need to schedule a meet and greet for you.

The 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days/3 weeks/3 months. Some pets will follow the 3-3-3 rule. 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the routine, 3 months to feel at home. Some pets will take 6-12 months or longer. There are many factors that can affect the adjustment period.
