Become an Official Grand Strand Humane Society Member!
We encourage you to become a member of our organization and be a voice for the homeless and helpless animals in our care. It is your continued support that enables us to provide quality care for the thousands of animals we take in each year. We use the membership fees to provide veterinary and preventative medical care for our animals, spay and neuter surgeries, a well balanced diet and enrichment program as well as maintenance and upkeep of the shelter and its environment.
Becoming a member of Grand Strand Humane Society is a very simple process and comes with many perks that can be enjoyed year-round!
Please click on ONE of the buttons below to either download the Membership Form for mail in or drop-off submission or submit your Membership Application online using a credit card or PayPal. Please remember to choose which level of support that fits your desired commitment. Please note your membership will expire one year from the date of your membership submission.
How your annual membership helps
$35 Companion Membership – Provides intake vaccines and testing for one incoming GSHS animal
$100 Best Friend Membership – Provides three spay/neuter surgeries to help end pet overpopulation
$500 Guardian Membership – Provides livesaving heartworm treatments for two shelter dogs
$1000 Hero Membership – Provides one month of flea and heartworm preventative for all shelter animals
Our Hero Membership also includes sponsorship of a cat condo or dog run with a specialized plaque
All membership fees include:
- Invitation to attend future quarterly members-only social events (at the new shelter)
- A future behind the scenes tour of the NEW GSHS shelter (by appointment only)
- Naming rights of a shelter pet to be featured on social media
- Free micro-chipping of personal pets
- Addition to our mailing list for newsletter and other publications
