Clinical Services
Staff Veterinarian is Dr. Michelle Crull. Dr. Crull graduated cum laude from Auburn University and was working in private practice prior to coming to the GSHS. Dr. Crull works three days a week at the shelter performing surgeries and administering preventative care.
Veterinary Services are provided on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Appointments for vaccines can be made by calling 843-918-4910. Spay/neuter appointments must be made in person at the shelter.
Our veterinary services are provided for pets from all areas of the Grand Strand area.

Extractions are an additional $5.00 and can only be done if time permits. Antibiotics and pain medicine are highly recommended with extractions. - Pre-Surgical Blood Work for older animals

If your cat is either in heat or pregnant, an additional $25.00 fee will be added.
If your dog is either in heat or pregnant, an additional $50.00 fee will be added.
If your animal is Cryptochid, an additional $25.00 fee will be added. If in abdomen, an additional $50.00 fee will be added.
Older dogs and cats must have blood work done prior to surgery. $75.00
