Clinical Services
Staff Veterinarian is Dr. Michelle Crull. Dr. Crull graduated cum laude from Auburn University and was working in private practice prior to coming to the GSHS. Dr. Crull works three days a week at the shelter performing surgeries and administering preventative care.
Veterinary Services are provided on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and on alternating Saturdays. Spay/neuter appointments must be made in person at the shelter. For a schedule of Saturday clinic days please call 843-918-4910.
We accept preventative care walk-ins during the following times:

Fridays from 8am-3pm.

- There will be an additional charge for animals in heat at time of surgery according to size & breed.
There will be an additional charge for female dogs pregnant at time of surgery: $50.00
There will be an additional charge for female cats pregnant at time of surgery: $25.00
If your animal is Cryptochid(non-dropped testicle), an additional $25.00 fee will be added. If in abdomen, an additional $50.00 fee will be added.
Older dogs and cats must have blood work done prior to surgery. $100.00
